Requirements

Reconfigurable Platform Requirements

The RC Toolbox is currently available for the following systems. The RC Toolbox is ideally suited to hybrid CPU/FPGA computing platforms. We are actively working on expanding our list of supported hardware. If you would like to use the RC Toolbox on your computing platform, please contact us.

Cray XD1 Supercomputer

  • Cray XD1, with Cray system software Release 1.4
  • Xilinx Virtex II or Virtex 4 FPGAs

DRC Development System

  • DRC Development System with Virtex 4 Reconfigurable Processor Unit
  • Available Q1 2007

Development System Requirements - Software

The following additional software is required in order to use the DSPlogic Reconfigurable Computing Toolbox R2.0. Please contact us for special bundled pricing.

  • MATLAB™ (7.2) Release 2006a (www.mathworks.com)
  • Simulink™ (6.4.1) Release 2006a (www.mathworks.com)
  • Xilinx ISE, Release 8.2.02 (Xilinx P/N: DS-ISE-FND)

    • >1 GB (Virtex II programming)
