Job Description
DSPlogic currently has a senior wireless software design position available with a high-tech company along Maryland's I-270 corridor. It is a 12-month contract position, with potential for contract-to-hire for the right candidate.
The embedded software engineer will be responsible for high-level design, code, test, and integration of embedded software for wireless communication systems. The candidate should be capable of translating high-level requirements into functional modules and lower level design specifications.
Required Skills
- At least 8 years experience embedded systems programming in C.
- Experience with Linux and real-time operating systems such as MontaVista
- Experience programming low-level device drivers
- Experience with quality-oriented design procedures and flows.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
The following skills are useful, but not required
- Communication systems theory and modem implementation
- Coding/decoding theory and implementation.
