Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced FPGA programmer who is ready for the challenges, responsibilities, and rewards that come with working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment of a growing company.The candidate will work as part of a team developing FPGAs for wireless communications and reconfigurable computing applications. The candidate will be accountable for FPGA designs and expected to work with a team to integrate the designs. Tasks include coding in VHDL, simulation, synthesis, design and code reviews, extensive verification, and completing the appropriate documentation.For more information, please visit www.dsplogic.com

Job Requirements

Required Skills

• At least 3 years experience programming FPGAs with VHDL.
• VHDL simulation, timing analysis, synthesis and FPGA place & route using Xilinx implementation Tools and Modelsim Simulator
• Experience 1M+ gate designs
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.

The following skills are useful, but not required

• Communication systems theory and modem implementation
• Coding/decoding theory and implementation.
• Familiarity with High-performance reconfigurable computing platforms (i.e. Cray XD1, SGI Altix)
