About Us
DSPlogic, Inc. is a leading supplier of FPGA-based Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and High Performance Computing (HPC) related products, services, and technology to government and commercial organizations. We specialize in logic design for DSP and HPC applications such as wireless communications, sensor processing, image processing, array processing, and signals analysis, using both Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and ASIC technology.
Founded in 2003 by Michael Babst, DSPlogic is also a leader in incorporating DSP applications into embedded systems including CPUs, DSP processors, GPUs, high-speed I/O, ADCs, DACs and other specialized processing hardware. Our proprietary, industry-leading, development tools and model-based design methodology allow us to rapidly convert algorithms to hardware, faster and cheaper than the competition, while maintaining accuracy, speed, and production quality.
DSPlogic is also the creator of ParaLea, a high-productivity, high-performance FPGA programming language based upon the Simulink™ platform. Along with the Reconfigurable Computing Toolbox and a custom Platform Support Package, it provides any software engineer with the ability to easily create portable, software-callable, FPGA-executed functions. It has been successfully applied to accelerate the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), DES Encryption, and the Wavelet transform by up to 40x compared to a standalone CPU.
DSPlogic has since grown to serve many organizations, from small startups, to Fortune 500 companies, to United States Department of Defense organizations. Today, DSPlogic continues to be on the leading edge of High Performance Reconfigurable Computing and embedded signal processing.
