Job Description
DSPlogic currently has a lead system architect position available in our Germantown, Maryland office, along Maryland's I-270 corridor. It is a full-time employment opportunity. U.S. citizenship is required.
The Electronic System Level (ESL) Tool Architect will be responsible for leading the research and development of our next generation FPGA programming tools. We are seeking a self-motivated, visionary individual, capable of performing both world-class research and hands-on, quality-oriented development.

Required Skills
- Experience with SystemC and Transaction Level Modeling (TLM) is required. Knowledge of AMS Extensions is a plus.
- Knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation (DE), Synchronous Data Flow (SDF), Dynamic Data Flow (DDF), Process Networks and other model simulation techniques.
- Experience with Model-Based Design flows, including algorithm simulation with Matlab/Simulink and/or Ptolemy.
- Experience with modeling systems using UML, SysML, and other System Level modeling languages is preferred.
- Experience simulating algorithms using Matlab/Simulink and Ptolemy is preferred.
- Expertise with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) programming, simulation, and verification using VHDL and Verilog is required.
- Knowledge of Models of Computation and their representation.
Software development experience using Object-Oriented programming languages. - Knowledge of synthesis, mapping, and place & route tools for Altera and Xilinx is preferred.
- Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms, including ultra-high-speed implementations is a plus. Applications include RADAR, LADAR, EW, Wireless Communications, Satellite
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead projects, and perform world-class research and development.
